In the opening of the 7th round of the Bundesliga on Friday, October 5th, Werder Bremen – VfL Wolfsburg will be played. The match will take place on “Weserstadion” starting at 19:30.
After a series of excellent results, three wins and a draw, Werder recorded the first defeat of the current season, after losing to Stuttgart away, 1-2. Veljkovic hindered his colleagues’ mission and was eliminated in the 36th minute after seeing the second yellow card. In spite of defeats, the hosts are on the fifth place in the standings and no doubt want to return as quickly as possible to victory. But in the three home games they scored a victory and two draws.
