Inter vs Parma PREVIEW & PREDICTION 15/09/2018

In the opening game of round four, Parma will visit Inter. The last time they encountered each other dates back to the 2014/2015 season, when Parma won a 2-0 win at home and pulled a 1-1 out of the fire in Milan. Can it stunt again this season?

Inter:

Inter had a bad start of the season, despite the fact that in terms of player material it improved, it could not break any pots in the first two games. After a defeat against Sassuolo, he played Tor2 at home 2-2.

In the away match against Bologna it seemed to be a difficult story for the Nerazzurri, as it remained the same for a long time. Inter almost took the lead after two minutes when goalkeeper Skorupski completely mistimed, but Perisic did not control the ball for an open goal. Inter still had a number of reasonable chances in the first half, but was unable to score. Because Inter-goalkeeper Handanovic had a good reflex on a header from close at home, it was still 0-0 at halftime. It was only in the 67th minute that Radja Nainggolan gained the score, after which the ban was broken. After Santander scored the only good chance for Bologna in the second half, the team from Milan expanded the score. Within three minutes, it scored 0-2 and 0-3 via Candreva and Perisic. Ultimately a justified victory for Inter in view of the game image.

It is still a question for coach Spaletti whether it is possible for Parma to have Argentinean Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez. Icardi was already absent from Bologna because of a muscle injury, but then traveled along with the national team. Martinez had been suffering from his calf for several weeks and he did not feel well again when he was training with Argentina during the international break.

Parma:

Promovendus Parma received champion Juventus last week and did it especially well in the first half. The team of Roberto D’Aversa started with Gervinho in the starting line. Rigoni who came over from Genoa also got a basic place for the first time because Grassi sustained an injury in the lost game against SPAL.

Parma was already behind in the second minute when Mandzukic had some fortune. After he headed into the game against the back of Iacoponi, Juve’s striker could easily tap into the ball. Parma showed resilience and created enough opportunities, Stulac hit the bar from a free kick. In the 33rd minute it was hit, the pass from Gervinho returned from China was able to work through a pierced cross with the knee.

Parma gave nice resistance to Juventus in the first half, in the second half it did not finish much of the goal and did not get a chance. The decisive 1-2 came in the sixtieth minute from the foot of Matuidi. Certainly on the basis of the second half a deserved win for Juve, in which Parma showed especially in the first half against top teams to be able to bring something in.

PREDICTION: Both teams to score / NO @ 1.71
