Arsenal vs West Ham PREVIEW & PREDICTION 25/08/2018

ARSENAL VS WEST HAM PREVIEW & PREDICTION

Saturday, at 15:00, Arsenal hopes to win the first victory this season, in a 100% London duel with West Ham United. Both teams started the season badly, but Unai Emery thinks he has the winning solution on the weekend. “Tuners” are clearly favorites to beat a band that did not show much in the first two matches, and the two rivals in the capital are neighbors ranking.

Arsenal has batch quality, but adapting to Unai Emery’s style of play is a lengthy process, and it’s normal for the Londoners to have trouble in starting the new manager’s term. Without Kolasinac, Koscielny and Maitland-Niles, Arsenal will storm the opponent, because Emery’s philosophy is that of quick possession, which does not allow rivals to play their usual game. At the press conference before the game, Emery announced he would use an offensive team to secure the three points.

West Ham will miss Andy Carroll, Lanzini and Reid, and Pellegrini’s team showed off in the early stages of the season, both in attack and in defense. If Arsenal succumbed to the heavyweight, Manchester City (0-2) and Chelsea (2-3), the “hammers” tilted Liverpool (0-4, no call) and Bournemouth (1-2 ). In the past, West Ham has shaken by defensive errors and fans have already turned against their own team, well-known in East London.

Arsenal meets one of the weakest defensive players in England.

Arsenal usually has good matches with West Ham, which he defeated in 4 of the last 5 direct duels. The only time he missed success was 0-0, away, but the rest was quite comfortable: 4-1, 1-0, 3-0 and 5-1. Of course, most of these scores were recorded with Alexis Sanchez on the field, but Arsenal is building fairly easy the gate phases, and Saturday should clearly dominate.

Arsenal has won 8 of the last 9 matches played against West Ham and success should be checked once again. The guests have no cohesion at all and the only decent transfer made in the summer is Felipe Anderson (Lazio). But there is no effective communication between lines, and Aubameyang, Ozil, Lacazette, and Mkhitaryan should take advantage of this because they know how to handle tight spaces. At the start of the season I saw many goals in West Ham’s matches, because Pellegrini’s backs are just not as demanded in the Premier League. Clear win!

THE PROBABLE TEAMS

Arsenal: Cech – Bellerin, Mustafi, Sokratis, Monreal – Guendouzi, Torreira – Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Iwobi – Aubameyang

West Ham: Fabianski – Zabaleta, Ogbonna, Balbuena, Masuaku – Wilshere, Noble, Sanchez – Yarmolenko, Arnautovic, F. Anderson

PREDICTION: Both teams to score / YES @ 1.68
