On Monday, June 4, in a friendly match, starting at 19:00, Morocco – Slovakia will be played. The confrontation will be held at the Geneva Stade in Switzerland.
At the end of a game in which they had an appreciated evolution, the Moroccans drew last 0-0 against Ukraine, 0-0. It was for the first time in the last six games, when the offensive failed to find the way to the opponent’s goal. However, they have been extensively invincible for no less than 16 consecutive games, all disputed in the last year. In eight of these games the table has undergone at least three changes.
On the other side, the Slovaks drew the same day in Trnava, score 1-1 against the Netherlands. Free contract after breaking away from Dinamo, Adam Nemec opened the scoring from the 6th minute. The hosts kept the advantage until the 59th minute, when Q.Promes (Sp.Moscova), restored equality. With the moral ascendant on their side, they are now trying to get a new positive result that will give them confidence for the autumn session. Slovakia will evolve in the UEFA Nations League with Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
This will be the first direct confrontation between the two bands.
