MALTA VS LUXEMBOURG PREVIEW & PREDICTION
As usual, the Maltese team was one of the worst teams of the qualifying stage and could only add one point in their respective ten games where they could only score three goals.
This bad campaign has led to the dismissal of Italian coach Pietro Ghedin and so has arrived Tom Saintfiet who has not had a good debut in command of the national team as he fell at home 0-3 against Estonia in a friendly match in November 2017.
These teams have met four times with two wins for Luxembourg for one from Malta, although they have always been tight games to the point that neither had 3 or more goals. Both are two of the lowest performing teams in Europe due to their poor performance in attack and many holes in defense. I’m going with this under since in its four direct matches it has not happened so luck to the follower.
PREDICTION: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.72
