PSV VS UTRECHT PREVIEW & PREDICTION

The experts have already written the championship to Eindhoven, even though the fight has not yet been fought. Point loss in this game ensures that the tension returns to some extent in the Dutch Eredivisie.

PSV :

Last weekend PSV came out as the big winner. The Eindhoven team won the very difficult away match against Feyenoord, after they saw Ajax running against ADO Den Haag. With a gap of seven points the club from North Brabant is on roses and the flat cart can be reserved in any case. Especially the way in which Feyenoord was won will have given the citizen courage.

Prior to the game with the reigning champion was still feared for a heavy chuck. During the game, this image changed, partly because PSV managed to play fine on the mat. The 0-2 advantage in the rest also provided the necessary relaxation and confidence. The absence of Hirving Lozano was ultimately not really noticed.

This was partly because left winger Steven Bergwijn played a fine role in this game. After this match, Lozano has to watch a duel from the stands (Willem II, out) and so it is great for trainer Philip Cocu that the young Bergwijn gets in shape at the right moment. Besides Bergwijn, Uruguayan Gaston Pereiro once again played a nice pot for the Eindhoven team.

Utrecht :

Not only in Eindhoven, people are satisfied with the current state of affairs. FC Utrecht is also working on a very good series. Trainer Jean-Paul de Jong took over in the winter break the scepter of Erik ten Hag, who left for Ajax. De Jong still has an unbeaten status after seven games and even managed to win the last four games, resulting in a fourth place.

Last Sunday, the Domstedelingen started the match against FC Twente, and subsequently lost the initiative. This resulted not only in a Twente lead via Haris Vuckic, but also later on a run from a 0-2 chance. The same Vuckic missed for an empty goal to double the score, leaving FC Utrecht in the game. In fact, Sean Klaiber made the equalizer before half time.

FC Utrecht came out of the locker room much better, making them the better party in the second company. This resulted in two hits and a 3-1 victory of the home team. FC Twente had deserved more in this meeting, so FC Utrecht was not unhappy after ninety minutes. De Jong hopes that he can continue his winning streak, although that will be a considerable task.

PREDICTION: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.53
