The Faroe Islands – Switzerland: 9th June 2017

The National of the Faroe Islands, although it is advantageous that it will evolve on its own ground, is ranked second with the chance this evening, as it was normal, but still to cheat with a stronger opponent. Faroeys do not say much in international football, they are not participating in any final tournament in their entire history, and certainly will not qualify too soon, judging by the way things are done in the current preliminaries. Lars Olsen’s national team ranks fourth in Group B, with only five points accumulated. In the five games so far, the National of the Faroe Islands has managed a victory and two draws, losing twice, matches in which scored two goals, winning four times more.

Switzerland on the other side is seen as a favorite in the evening, as it was normal, with a lot more valuable than its opponent, being also a more experienced national. The Swiss took part in the last two final tournaments, reaching the finals both in the 2014 world and the European one year ago, with the aim of qualifying at the world championship in Russia, which will take place over a year. Vladimir Petkovic’s national team is doing well in the current qualifying campaign, being in the first place in Group B with the highest score, in five games only victories. Until now, Switzerland has scored not less than ten goals, receiving just three.

Based on the form, but also on the value of the two national ones, I expect Switzerland to win the victory in a categorical manner, so I will bet that it will still mark the first part of the game.
