Troicki is on top form and he killing everyone he meat , he is not guy who choked often . As u have see he matured and that game against Nieminen , he waited his chance and used it , he didnt rushed and using much of power , he just waited for a moment to break . He is very stabile on his serve and his game is pretty much succesive as he showed in many games . He is defence player and that will kill Cilic as he making much of UE’s and he lost so easy in his court in Zagreb 2:0 pretty easy of Florian Mayer and Troicki is class for him.

Wickmayer struggled in her match yesterday with Vesnina, not so much because of the Russian but with her movement and consistency. She hurt her leg in the Fed Cup and wasn’t sure if she’ll even play here, she is playing but that leg will only get worse match after match. The match with Vesnina was a very strange one, Vesnina had plenty off chances to win the first set, Wickmayer pushed to the limit and it payed eventualy off but neither of them played well throughout.
Zakopalova started the year off very well with a semifinal in Hobart and a good showing in the Australian open where she lost to Safarova in tough three sets. She did well here in the first round, beat Bacsinsky in straight sets. She is a good player when in somekind of form, can compete with the best and should take advantage of any eventual opportunities in this one. They’ve never played before.

Watched Lopez 2 recent matches and I must say he is in very poor form. His confidence in crucial (especially Tb’s even when he is up during them) moments vanishes somehow. He is playing I would call it kamikaze tennis as he attacks, goes fast at the net, moving opponent with his wide backhand (this shot sometimes do a damage but then is easily figured out).
Mayer on the other hand is in some good form recently. He went to QF last year here.
Also Lopez has very bad record indoors, in Holland and in Rotterdam.
Some worries about Mayer condition, but I think if fit he is going to win it.

I think there’s a good chance for these odds to drop by tomorrow so taking it early. Hantuchova is a shadow of her former self, playing probably the most inconsistent tennis you can see on the wta, not just now but for months. She was poor for the most part last year and looking into her results in the last couple of weeks not much has changed. She played only 2 tournaments this year so far, lost both matches to MJMS and Kulikova.
Safarova isn’t someone you can trust to perform well very often but I consider her to be the better player here and playing in better form. Her start of the year was good, played the 3rd round of the Australian open losing to Zvonareva in tight 2 sets. She also has the QF in Brisbane at the start of the year.
This is a Fed cup meeting, played in Slovakia but I dont see that being a problem as I expect the Czechs will have some support as well. I consider Safarova a pretty decent favorite coming into this one and she should give her team the first win.
Also think any decent odds on the tie itself are worth taking. By decent I mean anything over 1,4. Safarova, Kvitova and Zahlavova S. who can pull her weight in the doubles look much better than the Slovaks (Hantuchova, Cibulkova)

Richard Gasquet has reached in the QF at Zagreb Open without winning any match as on previous round Clement has retired due to some medical problems. He will need some time to adjust his game on this surface as he comes from Australian Open and I expect him to have a dificult match today with the German player.
Berrer lost last week at Heilbronn Challenger in the QF at Brands and here won against Kavcic and Mektic. He didn’t managed anything notable so far this season as at Australian Open lost on 1st orund against Garcia Lopez or in the last 16 at Brisbane. No to mention he lost in the qualifications at Sydney.
Gasquet also failed so far to impress or should I say failed to leave up to the expectations as he lost to poor Phau in Chennai and QF at Sydney or 3rd round at Australian Open.
Gasquet is for sure better on court but Berrer hold a powerfull service a service that will help him in important moments and since the French will have to play at least one set to adjust his game we could see here a tight encounter and I prefere to back Berrer no to lose this one by more then 3 games diference.
