Match preview: Alcorcon – Gimnastic Tarragona

Both coaches, Paco Jemez and Fabri, are old enemies. Fabri was the head coach in FC Cartagena several years ago and Paco Jemez was his assistant coach. Match preview: Rayo Vallecano – Tenerife

Rayo Vallecano is placed in 4th position (6 points). The team has started perfectly this season. They have managed two victories in two encounters. They always perform attractive gaming style with only one target, score the most number of possible goals. Rayo Vallecano won against CD Numancia (3-2) in the opening game and they overcame against Cordoba CF (2-3) from 2-0 in the last round.

Match preview: Celta Vigo – Cordoba

I trust so much in Paco Herrera (RC Celta’s new coach). He is a serious coach with a long career. He has managed different results in several clubs but he works so well with important group of players. I think RC Celta can manage good results this season and I strongly think that they won’t suffer like past season. Even they could fight to reach the promotion zone.
Paco Herrera will repeat the same team that managed an outstanding performance in Soria last Sunday.
Golkeeper: Falcon.
Defenders: Hugo Mallo, Roberto Lago, Catala and Jonathan Vila.
Midfielders: Lopez Garai, Alex Lopez, Abalo, Trashorras and De Lucas.
Forwards: David Rodriguez

Avoid Mistakes

Cordoba CF is placed in 15th spot (1 point) in the Spanish Segunda. They drew against UD Salamanca (1-1) in the first round and they lost against Rayo Vallecano (2-3) after leading the match 2-0 at half time. They made an excellent first half but they were overwhelmed in the second half by an extra-offensive Rayo Vallecano.
Lucas Alcaraz (Cordoba CF’s coach) is a defensive minded master. There are a lot of difference between home performances and away ones. Cordoba CF is a tough, very complicated team when they play at home. Lucas Alcaraz’s teams are usually winning the most of their points at home. When Lucas Alcaraz´s teams play away from home they show defensive performance with dangerous counter-attacks. This year they have important players to play on counters like Jonathan Sesma from Real Valladolid.
This last Wednesday they were able to eliminate Rayo Vallecano in the 3rd round of the Spanish Cup. They played an Extra Time but the most of players were substitutes except Agus (defender) and Pepe Diaz (striker).
They will have one absence. This one is not important because is the second goalkeeper (Alberto García) who was sent off in midweek match.

I Believe in Celestes

I know that there’s not much value in RC Celta Side in the stage of the season in which the teams stay. Teams are adjusting their pieces and the results are quite unpredictable. This is a tough league to take benefits out but I think this is an interesting pick.
I rate RC Celta Vigo this season as a tough team to beat. They are usually being a complicated team in Balaidos Stadium. RC Celta’s supported are hungry of good vibrations and sensation. They will support to reach the victory.
RC Celta has signed up good players and they should keep the job that they made last Sunday. If they take advantage of the big number of chances that they create, I’m quite sure they will win comfortably this evening.
Cordoba CF has doubts after their bad result and sensations against Rayo Vallecano in Spanish League. Raul Navas (goalkeeper) made a big mistake in Rayo’s second goal. He is not having good days since he was involved in the possible fixed game last season against Hercules CF where he conceded 4 goals. Cordoba CF base their game style in defensive job, they can’t afford having a nervous goalkeeper.
I will assign my minimal stake because is a fair odd without big value, although RC Celta is usually beating Cordoba at home lately.
