Posts Tagged ‘Spanish Segunda’

AD Alcorcon is placed in the 12th position (17 points, 5W – 2D – 6L) in the Spanish Segunda. They promoted previous season from Spanish Segunda B and they made the great deed to eliminate Real Madrid CF in the Spanish Cup. They were able to trash Real Madrid CF (4-0) at home. Maybe they are the toughest team to play at home in the whole Spanish Segunda. Santo Domingo Stadium is an authentic fortress and they know perfectly how to damage to every team which visits them.
Another different thing is when they play as guests. They have lost five matches and drew against UD Salamanca. They have to start catching points away from home because this a long term competition and every team can promote but also every team can relegate if they don’t manage points as hosts as guests.
They will have one important absence in their creative system: Sergio Mora (brain, midfielder) is suspended. Javi Hernandez (defender) is slightly injured and he will be doubtful until Sunday.

Defensive Minded Team

Gimnastic Tarragona is placed in the 19th spot (11 points, 2W – 5D – 6L) in the Spanish Segunda. They have scored 10 goals and conceded 13 in 13 games. Their numbers and figures are totally clear. They are a defensive minded team which is coached by a defensive minded coach. Luis Cesar Sampedro always looks for clean sheet and then they try to take advantage of their few goal chances.
Gimnastic Tarragona and SD Huesca are the kings of 0-0. Gimanstic Tarragona hasn’t enough scoring power and their strikers (Ruben Navarro, Powell, Juan Dominguez and Eloy) aren’t finding the rival net lately, so Gimnastic Tarragona is not usually involving in crazy matches and high scores.
They will have three absences for this match: Delporte (midfielder) and Ruz (defender) have long term injuries. It seems that Medina (starting defender) won’t play due to a hamstring in his thigh muscles.

Home Win

This week has been quite special for AD Alcorcon. Jesus Alvarez Garrido (70 years old), AD Alcorcon’s manager, died and he was quite beloved in the club, as for supporters as players are sad and desolated for this bad news. AD Alcorcon’s players are quite motivated to dedicate this victory to this beloved person.
AD Alcorcon is a tough team at home. They have won 5 matches and lost only one against dangerous FC Barcelona B. Bad news arrives when they have to play away from home, but they are almost invincible at home. They always play at full strength and all their rivals are usually struggling due to AD Alcorcon’s high pace and high rhythm. They have scored 13 goals out of 17 scored at home. AD Alcorcon shows every week at home that they can beat any team at Santo Domingo Stadium. Quini (striker) is the top scorer (11 goals) in the Spanish Segunda sharing this position with Alex Geijo (Granada CF).
On the other hand, Gimnastica Tarragona must make an excellent defensive performance to continue alive after the final of this match. I don’t expect great performance on Gimnastic side due to they have shown that haven’t been able to score goals easily. They only have won 1 match in last 11 played. They were capable of beating CD Tenerife away from home, but this fact doesn’t surprise me, because I watched the match between CD Tenerife versus AD Alcorcon (1-0) and I don’t know how AD Alcorcon couldn’t take at least one point at Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez. AD Alcorcón had at least 6 unbelievable misses in front of the target.
Gimnastic drew (0-0) last two matches at home and they couldn’t win poor sides as SD Huesca and Elche CF lately. I don’t think they can their clean sheet on Sunday morning against AD Alcorcon. So, knowing the great problems which Gimnastic to score goals, it’s highly probable the home win.
This match will be played at 12:00 CET and this fact clearly benefits to AD Alcorcon because they have always played their matches at that time when they fought in Spanish Segunda B and Third Division.
I consider a value bet anything above evens. So, AH (-0.5) is a great bet for Sunday morning.

Tip: 1 AH (-0.5)

Real Valladolid is placed in 7th spot (18 points, 5W – 3D – 3L) in the Spanish Segunda. Real Valladolid is one of the favourites to come back to Spanish Primera next season. They have a pretty competitive group of players and they started the season quite strong. Real Valladolid managed three victories in a row in the three first matches this season.
They have several offensive players with high quality for this tournament. Javi Guerra, Calle, Sisi and Nauzet are players who belong to Spanish Primera. They started the season with a high efficiency in goal scoring, but although they have a lot of goal chances in every match, they are having bad luck to score goals easily.
They are not finding their best feelings lately and they lost clearly (3-0) their last match in the League against a direct rival to promote this season, Rayo Vallecano. On Tuesday they also drew against RCD Espanyol in Spanish Cup, but they couldn’t progress to the next stage. Home crowd is not happy with its players’ performances and the coach, Antonio Gomez, is having problems with the supporters and they will have an important match on Sunday against RC Celta Vigo at home. Antonio Gomez rested a lot of starting players in Cup match for their match this weekend.
The called squad fir this important game:
Justo Villar, Jacobo, Pedro López, Barragán, Jordi, Baraja, Raúl Navas, Guilherme, Jorge Alonso, Álvaro Rubio, Jesús Rueda, Nauzet, Sisi, Álvaro Antón, Óscar, Quique, Calle y Javi Guerra.
They will have important absences: Marc Valiente (centre back defender) and Lazaro (midfielder) are injured. Peña (left defender), Arzo (centre back defender) and Keita (striker) haven’t been called for this match.

New Spirit

RC Celta is placed in 3rd spot (22 points, 6W – 4D -1L). They lost against FC Barcelona B (1-2) in the opening game, but this result was rather deceitful. RC Celta had at least 6 clear goal chances, but Ruben Miño (FC Barcelona B’s goalkeeper) was a superb performance. Anyway they only have lost that match in the Spanish Segunda. They have become a quite tough team to beat and they always create clear goal chances in every match, because they have plenty of quality players in their squad.
I trust so much in Paco Herrera (RC Celta’s new coach). He is a serious coach with a long career. He has managed different results in several clubs but he works so well with important group of players. I think RC Celta can manage good results this season and I strongly think that they won’t suffer like past season. Even they could fight to reach the promotion zone.
The probable starting eleven would be:
Golkeeper: Falcon.
Defenders: Hugo Mallo, Roberto Lago, Catala and Jonathan Vila (Ander Murillo).
Midfielders: Bustos, Lopez Garai, Alex Lopez, Trashorras and Quique De Lucas.
Forwards: David Rodriguez.
They would recover their best starting eleven with the return of Roberto Lago after their suspension. The only doubt is Jonathan Vila who has problems with an intestinal flu.

Two Candidates, Tough Match

Real Valladolid’s figures at home are quite terrific. They have managed 4 wins and 1 draw out of 5 matches. However RC Celta Vigo hasn’t lost away from home. They have managed 3 wins and 2 draws. This will be a tough match between two good teams.
I consider high value on Galician side. Bookmakers have taken Real Valladolid’s figures at home and they have placed them as a clear favorites setting the Asian Handicap line on (-0.5) / (+0.5). I think there is a big mistake in that line. The line in this match should be (-0.25) and close to level ball because Real Valladolid isn’t playing good lately. They have lost clearly away from home against Girona FC (2-0) and Rayo Vallecano (3-0). Whereas at home they have won their last two games against UD Las Palmas (3-0) and versus UD Salamanca (1-0), but their game style hasn’t been good and they have been quite lucky at determined moments. UD Las Palmas played very offensive and they were totally outplayed on counter-attacks and UD Salamanca deserved at least the draw but they missed uncountable goal chances.
On the other hand, RC Celta Vigo enjoys playing away from home. They haven’t to drive the ball and the tempo of the match and they take advantage of their dangerous offensive midfielders and great striker David Rodriguez. I strongly thinkRC Celta Vigo has great opportunity to win against Real Valladolid in this match.
Home Crowd is not happy with players and coach at Valladolid and RC Celta Vigo is a tough opponent to have a placid match in the morning on Sunday. I consider as cracking odds those placed on (+0.25) in the Galician side.

Real Valladolid is placed in 8th spot (12 points, 3W – 3D – 1L) in the Spanish Segunda. Real Valladolid is one of the favourites to come back to Spanish Primera next season. They have a pretty competitive group of players and they started the season quite strong. Real Valladolid managed three victories in a row in the three first matches this season. After that they haven’t been able to win another game. They have drawn 3 matches and they also lost one game against Real Betis Balompie away from home.
They have several offensive players with high quality for this tournament. Javi Guerra, Calle, Sisi and Nauzet are players who blongs to Spanish Primera. They started the season with a high efficiency in goal scoring, but although they have a lot of goal chances in every match, they are having bad luck to score goals easily.
They will have two absences: Oscar (offensive midfielder), Rueda (defender) and Peña (defender) are injured. Lazaro (midfielder) hasn’t been called for this match, technical decision.
The complete called squad is: Justo Villar, Jacobo, Pedro López, Barragán, Arzo, Baraja, Jordi, Marc Valiente, Guilherme, Álvaro Rubio, Jorge Alonso, Sisi, Nauzet, Jofre, Álvaro Antón, Calle, Guerra and Keita.

Crazy and Lovely

UD Las Palmas is placed in 7th spot (13 points, 3W – 4D – 0L) in the Spanish Segunda. They have had an amazing start of the season, not only amazing but incredible. The Club built a team to fight for avoiding the relegation and maybe that measure is the real one, but the team is playing in superb mode at the moment. They are a mixture between solid veterans and fresh youngsters. Paco Jemez (UD Las Palmas’ coach) has been able to manage the secret potion and the Canary team is playing quite well. They are quite aggressive at home and they are usually playing an appealing offensive style, scoring goals and enjoying the home crowd.
They have played 3 matches away from home so far and they have shown excellent performances in those games. They drew against a tough SD Huesca (0-0) in “El Alcoraz”, they totally outplayed Villarreal B CF (0-3) and they drew against Recreativo Huelva (1-1) where deserved to win without problems in their last match as guests. UD las Palmas have shown to be a quite dangerous team playing on counter-attack style. They have fast and dynamic players who do a quick and passing game style very effective.
They will have some absences: Stephane Pignol (defender) and Josico (midfielder) are injured. Edixon Perea, Mauro Quiroga, Randy, Juanpe y Armiche haven’t been called for this match.
The probable starting eleven would be: Barbosa; Aythami, David Garcia, Samuel, Ruyman, Adrian Pollo, David Gonzalez, Alvaro Cejudo, Guayre, Vitolo y Jonathan Viera.

Two Teams for the Victory

At first sight the obvious bet in this match should be AH (+0.5) on UD Las Palmas side above evens, but UD Las Palmas is like Russian roulette. They are an anarchic team where they usually attack with a lot of players and they also allow too many spaces behind in their defense.
Real Valladolid didn’t win the last 4 matches and UD Las Palmas has drawn their last 3 matches, so I have one clear thing in this match, both teams will fight to manage the three points. These two teams have plenty of quality players in offensive lines and they will look for the rival box to score as much as they can.
I have had a look in Over 2.5 odds and I have found a marvelous ratio for these teams. I consider big value Over 2.5 goals @ 2.25. I can’t believe these odds because this match will be quite open and both teams have enough quality to score several goals how they showed in the first round in Spanish Cup when the match played at Valladolid finished 5-3.
Obviously, Spanish Cup is totally different to Spanish Segunda Tournament, but these two team are quite offensive minded, so I consider a great opportunity to invest my medium stake.

Granada CF is placed in 10th spot (10 points, 3W – 1D – 3L) in the Spanish Segunda. Granada CF has returned to Spanish Segunda after 22 years. It has been a long time without elite football in the City of La Alhambra. The Club has made a big effort to make a competitive group of players and they promoted from Spanish Segunda B last season being the best team among the 4 groups in the category. They have an appointment with Udinese and the Italian Club loans players to Granada CF like Fabian Orellana, Tariq…
Fabri (Granada CF’s coach) is the defensive minded coach who managed the promotion last year. He has improved the team since the weak start of the season. Their first three matches were losses but the team made good games against tough opponents as Real Betis Balompie and Real Valladolid. After that they went down the level against Albacete Balompie and their victory versus SD Ponferradina at home. After that they have achieved and they have managed 1 drew away from home against dangerous UD Las Palmas and two wins in a row versus Girona FC and UD Salamanca.
They will recover all absences and Fabri will have all the squad available for this pretty match.
The probable starting eleven will be very similar to the one of the last good matches: Roberto; Nyom, Ruben, Lucena, Iñigo Lopez; Oscar Perez, Mikel Rico, Abel Gomez, Dani Benitez; Orellana y Alex Geijo.

Good Running

Rayo Vallecano is placed in 1st position sharing it with RC Celta Vigo (6 points, 6W – 0D – 1L). The team has started perfectly this season. They have managed six victories out of seven matches. They always perform attractive game style with only one mission, scoring the most number of possible goals. Rayo Vallecano won against CD Numancia (3-2) in the opening game and they overcame against Cordoba CF (2-3) from 2-0 in the last round. After that they managed victories against CD Tenerife, Gimnastic Tarragona, SD Huesca and Villarreal B CF. They have only lost versus AD Alcorcon away from home
Jose Ramon Sandoval (Rayo’s new coach) is trying to keep the same game style which they had last years with Pepe Mel as coach, but they are usually being more conservative when they play away from home.
Rayo Vallecano will have the following absences: Salva (defender) is injured and Andrija Delibasic (striker) who came back from the international duties with Montenegro.
The called squad is: Cobeño, Tito, Casado, Arribas, Amaya, Movilla, Borja Gómez, Armenteros, Rafa García, Piti, Juli, Aganzo, Javi Fuego, Dani, Coke, Trejo, Borja García y Daniel Provencio.

Pretty Match

This will be a pretty and beautiful match. Two hot teams will fight to grab the three points and continue their excellent streaks. Bookmakers have placed the line in the level ball (0) and maybe they are right, but I consider a good opportunity to bet on home side because they are not considered the favourites and I think Granada CF won’t lose a lot of matches at home this season. They are an extremely worker team and they fight every ball in every game.
Granada CF has only lost one match at home. They lost in the second round versus one of the best teams in the category, Real Valladolid. They deserved at least the draw, but Real Valladolid had a perfect efficiency and they could manage the final 0-1.
However, Rayo Vallecano has won 2 matches out of three away from home. They overcame against Cordoba CF (2-3) and they also won against poor Gimnastic Tarragona. They were absolutely outplayed by AD Alcorcon two weeks ago. Rayo Vallecano is not the same team as host and away from home. I think they will have problems against Granada CF because Los Carmenes Stadium will be packed with an attendance of 15.000 hot supporters and they are playing very good lately for this category.
Bookmakers underrate Granada CF which should be slight favourite in the level ball. Instead of that I can find Granada CF AH (0) @ 2.10 and I rate this handicap as an appealing chance to invest my medium stake.

They will have some absences: Stephane Pignol (defender), Dani Carril (defender) and Javier Guerrero (striker) are injured. Jorge Larena (midfielder) hasn’t been called into the squad for this encounter.
The probable starting eleven would be: Barbosa; Ruyman, David Garcia, Samuel, Aythami, Josico, David Gonzalez, Alvaro Cejudo, Guayre, Vitolo y Jonathan Viera.

22 Years After

Granada CF is placed in 17th spot (3 points, 1W – 0D – 3L) in the Spanish Segunda.
He is still adjusting the pieces to be competitive in a professional division. Their first three matches have been losses but the team had made good games against tough opponents as Real Betis Balompie and Real Valladolid. After that they went down the level against Albacete Balompie and their victory versus SD Ponferradina at home. The team is still looking for his identity after the new signings in the summer.
They have one only absence in this match, but that is quite important. Diego Mainz (defender) is injured. He is the best defender in Granada CF’s squad.
The probable starting eleven would be: Roberto; Nyom, Ruben, Lucena, Mensah; Bergantiños, Mikel Rico, Abel Gomez, Dani Benitez; Collantes y Alex Geijo.

Interesting Match

I have to admit that this match will be a tough one to predict. Why? UD Las Palmas is a young team which can be influenced by the euphoria of the last victories. Granada CF will be a hard nut to crack and they will go to the island for doing a tough match to UD Las Palmas.
Both coaches, Paco Jemez and Fabri, are old enemies. Fabri was the head coach in FC Cartagena several years ago and Paco Jemez was his assistant coach. Fabri was sacked and Paco Jemez took Fabri’s job. Fabri has always been saying that Jemez betrayed to him. So there are pending issues between these two coaches.
I suspect that Fabri can be sacked again if he doesn’t manage some positive results in a row I have not any kind of doubt he will be resign. After their loss against Albacete Balompie he blamed and pointed at several players punishing in the last match at home, so I think he can have some enemies in the squad.
It`s true that this match can be a trap, but I’m going to trust on the good gaming style which UD Las Palmas is showing and I think that the probability of its victory is upper than 50%, so I have to admit that the odds on UD Las Palmas’ victory is quite juicy and tasty. I’m going to trust in the Pio Pio Boys and I think they should win this game with the help of their packed Stadium.

Albacete Balompie will have two important misses in defense. Tarantino is suspended due to his sending-off in the match against Recreativo Huelva. Toni will also be an absence. Toni is on loan and he belongs to Real Betis Balompie. These two defenders are key players in the back part of Antonio Calderon’s eleven.
The probable starting eleven would be: Keylor Navas; Zubiaurre, De la Cuesta, Fragoso, Kike, Tato, Nuñez, Verza, Sousa, Antonio Lopez, Asen.

Solid Leader

Real Betis Balompie is placed in the top spot (12 points, 4W – 0D – 0L) in the League. Real Betis Balompie has made a very good job in the summer. They have signed up good players for this category (Jorge Molina, Ruben Castro, Belenguer, Salva Sevilla, Dorado, Momo…) and they have left to go a lot of players who they weren’t motivated to drive Real Betis to Spanish Primera again. Anyway the best thing which Real Betis made this summer was to sing up a coach like Pepe Mel. Pepe Mel was Real Betis Balompie’s player in 90’s and he is an excellent coach for Spanish Segunda. He has woken the pride in his squad. He made four superb seasons in Rayo Vallecano and he deserves the chance to manage Real Betis Balompie.
They will have several absences. Jorge Molina (striker), Arzu (midfielder) and Jonathan Pereira (striker) are long term injured. Beñat (midfielder) and Ezequiel (midfielder) neither will play against Albacete due to injury issues.
The probable starting eleven would be: Goitia; Miguel Lopes, Belenguer, Dorado, Nacho; Iriney, Salva Sevilla; Caffa, Emaná, Momo, Ruben Castro. Momo is doubtful but he can be replaced by Israel.

5th Win in a Row

Real Betis Balompie will look for his 5th win in a row. This fact would mean to equal the best start in a tournament league since the year 1935 when they were Spanish Primera Champions. Pepe Mel is a coach who always searches the pride in their players. Besides being real Betis’s former player he is focused 100% in the promotion to Spanish Primera.
Albacete Balompie has problems to score easily this season. They have scored only 3 goals in 4 matches. They base their skills on defensive job and this week will have big problems with their defensive line. They have two important absences, Toni and Tarantino. Zubiaurre will play after a long term injury and maybe he is not fit to meet Real Betis Balompie.
Real Betis Balompie has improved so much in defensive attitude this season. They are not conceding stupid goals and this skill help them to win comfortably the matches who play away from home. They have important offensive players for this division. Emana, Ruben Castro and the injured Jorge Molina aren’t usually forgiving when they have some kind of chance. I don’t think that Albacete can obtain any point in this encounter. I thought that bookmakers would put the line on AH (-0.5), but they have placed it on AH (-0.25), so I think this a good chance to take advantage of it.

CD Numancia is placed in 19th spot (0 points) in the Spanish Segunda. They have lost every match that they have played in this League, 4 matches. They lost against Xerez CD (1-0) in their last match. CD Numancia improved something, but the reason for that improvement was caused by Xerez CD that gave them the ball and prayed to keep this result. I called it “The fear in Spanish Segunda”, scores and only defense.
Juan Carlos Unzue (CD Numancia’s coach) came from FC Barcelona. He was goalkeepers coach with Pepe Guardiola last two years. Every coach who comes out from FC Barcelona and they manage in other team, they are usually failing. The closer example is Eusebio Sacristan, he was RC Celta’s coach last season and he had a lot of problems to survive in Spanish Segunda. They come from Barcelona and they want to play the same style that they played there. Passing game, control the ball and advanced defense. All of them are usually struggling in these categories where it’s quite important the defense and take advantage of counter-attacks and tactical free kicks.
CD Numancia repeats the same called squad that they had against Xerez CD.
Lafuente, Diego de Miguel, Flaño, Nagore, Angulo, Dimas, Iñigo Velez, Mario, Mikel Álvaro, Barkero, Jaio, Nano, Ibrahima, Oscar López, Pavón, Culebras, Víctor Andres y Cedric. I think Unzue can put into the pitch the same starting eleven which played in Jerez de la Frontera.

King`s counters

FC Cartagena is placed in 6th position (6 points) in the Spanish Segunda. They have won two matches and lost one. They did an excellent last season. FC Cartagena started quite good after they promoted previous season from Segunda B. They have always suffered problems to beat strong teams at home but they were the best team away from home last year.
Juan Ignacio Martinez (FC Cartagena’s coach) is a quite good strategist and then they play away from home FC Cartagena are usually being very dangerous because they had fast players and they enjoy developing this game style, steal and fast attack. They destroyed FC Barcelona B at home last weekend with this formula. They love to play with teams which want to hold the ball because they can make fast counter-attacks with high effectiveness.
They will have two important absences, but none of them played against FC Barcelona B. Cygan (central defender) and Maldonado (offensive midfielder) are injured.
This is the called squad and I think it’s highly probable that they repeat the same eleven:
Goalkeepers: Rebollo and Casilla.
Defenders: Exposito, Pablo Ruiz, Txiki, Botelho, Chus Herrero and Cala.
Midfielders: Mariano, Longas, Lafuente, Toni Moral, Iñaki, Julien and Keko.
Strikers: Victor, Toche and Goiria.

Wrong Handicap

I consider that bookmakers have placed a wrong asian handicap in this game. I expected the level ball and even FC Cartagena would be favorites because CD Numancia has a lot of problems to create football with Juan Carlos Unzue’s style and FC Cartagena is a dangerous team away from home. They trashed Xerez CD (1-4) away from home in the opening game. They played pretty good on counters mode.
CD Numancia is usually suffering so much with this class of teams. They were totally outplayed by RC Celta at home. They were losing 0-2 in 20 minutes. I rate FC Cartagena more dangerous than RC Celta and I think CD Numancia will have a tough weekend.
I found AH (+0.25) on FC Cartagena’s side, so I can`t afford losing this bet. I expect a quite fast FC Cartagena which can damage CD Numancia on counters catching at least the draw.

Rayo Vallecano is placed in 4th position (6 points). The team has started perfectly this season. They have managed two victories in two encounters. They always perform attractive gaming style with only one target, score the most number of possible goals. Rayo Vallecano won against CD Numancia (3-2) in the opening game and they overcame against Cordoba CF (2-3) from 2-0 in the last round.
They were also eliminated in the Spanish Cup against Cordoba CF last Wednesday, but Jose Ramon Sandoval (Rayo’s new coach) made a lot of changes in his starting line-up.
Rayo Vallecano will have the following absences: Michel (midfielder), Salva (defender) and Piti (striker) won’t play due to long term injuries. Javi Fuego (midfielder) won’t play because he is suspended.
Andrija Delibasic (striker) will return to the squad after the international test with Montenegro National Team.

Disappointing Start

CD Tenerife is placed in 18th spot (0 points) after a disappointing start of the season. They have lost every game that has been played. They lost against Girona FC (4-2) and they also lost against UD Salamanca at home (1-2). We can’t forget that they were trashed by Elche CF in 2nd round of the Spanish Cup (4-1). A simple disaster for a team which has invested a lot of money this year to return to Spanish Primera.
There are a lot of rumors about the bad feelings between Gonzalo Arconada (CD Tenerife’s new coach) and part of the squad. This fact makes get worried to the supporters about this season. They need a fast victory to calm the home crowd down and increase the confidence in the group of players.
They will have one important absence in defense. David Prieto (defender) is suspended. It is expected that Gonzalo Arconada does some changes in the midfield and Julio Alvarez (midfielder) will play in midfield, so CD Tenerife will play an offensive match to catch the victory.

Offensive Match

Rayo Vallecano in always an offensive minded team. Their stadium is quite narrow and they were supported by a hot atmosphere. Their matches are always full of chances in both boxes. I have no doubt about Rayo’s intention. They will try to win the match from the first moment, but they are usually being quite awful in their defensive system. They always concede goals. Their two league matches have finished with 2 goals conceded. They have kept the same style that had with Pepe Mel as coach.
On the other side, CD Tenerife needs to win one match to reset the start of the season. They can’t lose more point because they have invested so much in this squad and they have so much pressure over the players and coach.
CD Tenerife’s squad has players with plenty of quality. Players who belong to Spanish Primera as Julio Alvarez, Nino, Ricardo Leon, David Prieto, Melli… It’s quite soon to get alarmed but I’m sure that CD Tenerife will play today with all their weapons to catch points in Teresa Rivero Stadium.
I love these odds on goals market above 2.00. Rayo Vallecano is always an entertained team and CD Tenerife is a team full of quality. I expected goals in this match and I will take these juicy odds.

I think RC Celta can manage good results this season and I strongly think that they won’t suffer like past season. Even they could fight to reach the promotion zone.
Paco Herrera will repeat the same team that managed an outstanding performance in Soria last Sunday.
Golkeeper: Falcon.
Defenders: Hugo Mallo, Roberto Lago, Catala and Jonathan Vila.
Midfielders: Lopez Garai, Alex Lopez, Abalo, Trashorras and De Lucas.
Forwards: David Rodriguez

Avoid Mistakes

Cordoba CF is placed in 15th spot (1 point) in the Spanish Segunda. They drew against UD Salamanca (1-1) in the first round and they lost against Rayo Vallecano (2-3) after leading the match 2-0 at half time. They made an excellent first half but they were overwhelmed in the second half by an extra-offensive Rayo Vallecano.
Lucas Alcaraz (Cordoba CF’s coach) is a defensive minded master. There are a lot of difference between home performances and away ones. Cordoba CF is a tough, very complicated team when they play at home. Lucas Alcaraz’s teams are usually winning the most of their points at home. When Lucas Alcaraz´s teams play away from home they show defensive performance with dangerous counter-attacks. This year they have important players to play on counters like Jonathan Sesma from Real Valladolid.
This last Wednesday they were able to eliminate Rayo Vallecano in the 3rd round of the Spanish Cup. They played an Extra Time but the most of players were substitutes except Agus (defender) and Pepe Diaz (striker).
They will have one absence. This one is not important because is the second goalkeeper (Alberto García) who was sent off in midweek match.

I Believe in Celestes

I know that there’s not much value in RC Celta Side in the stage of the season in which the teams stay. Teams are adjusting their pieces and the results are quite unpredictable. This is a tough league to take benefits out but I think this is an interesting pick.
I rate RC Celta Vigo this season as a tough team to beat. They are usually being a complicated team in Balaidos Stadium. RC Celta’s supported are hungry of good vibrations and sensation. They will support to reach the victory.
RC Celta has signed up good players and they should keep the job that they made last Sunday. If they take advantage of the big number of chances that they create, I’m quite sure they will win comfortably this evening.
Cordoba CF has doubts after their bad result and sensations against Rayo Vallecano in Spanish League. Raul Navas (goalkeeper) made a big mistake in Rayo’s second goal. He is not having good days since he was involved in the possible fixed game last season against Hercules CF where he conceded 4 goals. Cordoba CF base their game style in defensive job, they can’t afford having a nervous goalkeeper.
I will assign my minimal stake because is a fair odd without big value, although RC Celta is usually beating Cordoba at home lately.
