Gladbach is traditionally good at home and bad away. They are unbeaten in their last 5 home matches although they played against strong teams like Bayern Munich or Bayer Leverkusen. But in their last away game, they outplayed even Bayer Leverkusen unbelievable by 6:3! Their coach admitted that their play was almost perfect. Remember: Leverkusen is a team for the first five places in Bundesliga and have many national players like Adler, Helmes, Ballack etc. The Fohlen seems to have a good young generation with talented players like Reus or Herrmann. But although they have good internationals like Bobadilla.

FALSE START

Frankfurt lost their first two games: 1-3 to Hamburger SV and 1:2 to Hannover 96. They played not good and have not won in their last 5 games in Bundesliga and are 0-1-4 in these matches. Now they have bigger injury problems: Their defensive captain Chris is still out, because of illness. Defender Vasoski is also injured. Their best striker Amanatidis will probably out due to an knee injury. Maybe the first goalkeeper Nikolov will come back, but he has not shown too good games this season.

HOME WIN

Gladbach is traditionally a good home team and was won the last two games against Eintracht Frankfurt. The guests are not in form and have shown problems in offense and defense. These will become greater due to the absent players. I think that Gladbach will win this, but there are some chances for a draw, because Gladbach draw their last 3 home games. So I take 1-0,25 (AHC) for nice 1,91.

Eintracht Frankfurt had at bad start. They lost against poor Hannover 96 away 1:2. They were not bad, but showed some defensive problems. In the past Frankfurt played defensive footbal. But coach Skibbe changed the style to a more offensive minded one. So it is no surpise that their last five games all ended over 2,5. Striker Amanatidis has shown good form in the preparation of the season.

GOOD START

Hamburger SV had a good start. Thanks to Van the Man they beat Schalke at home in their first match 2:1. They played good and deserved the win.

GOALS

Both teams showed in the past that they conceded and scored many goals. Another reason for the over is, that Frankfurt misses their first goalkeeper and the most important defensive player. HSV has scored two goals against Schalke, who has national keeper Neuer and traditionally a good defence. HSV defensive wing Aogo is out. I think we should at least see 3 goals.
