Brasov have lift their form on recent weeks, mainly on their home turf where they won 7 out of 9 points available in the last 3 rounds, to climb up on 13th place, 2 points above the relegation zone. They have also qualified for the semi-finals of the Cup, so that`s a decent campaign for Brasov, considering the fact that they sold their best players before the start of the season.
Looking for a point
Targu Mures are still paying the price for the game against Steaua when 3 players have been sent off and another 2 have received the 4th yellow card of the campaign, but coach Sabau have proved that he is one of the best tacticians from Liga 1 and despite all the missings, his side won a valuable point against U Cluj, in another relegation derby. Once again they will be looking for a point. Bruno Fernandes, Topić and Vasilache are still suspended, Dan Matei and Vagner are injured, but Stere and Dan Roman are back in the squad after serving a one match ban.
Relegation derby
There isn`t too much to separate this sides as they both have 19 points at the half of the season and I predict a very equal and balanced game in this relegation derby. The hosts are quite strong at home, where they lost only once this season, but they tend to draw a lot (3W, 5D, 1L), while the guests have won just once on the road, but draw on half of their games. Despite the recent better form, I don`t rate Brasov as favorites and I expect them to share the points with relegation strugglers Targu Mures.

Branesti are coming at the back of a spectacular 3-2 win away from home at U Cluj, a match in which they showed great character, coming from behind (0-2 in the 35th minute)and now they moved outside the relegation zone. They are playing confident on their home ground, as they were beaten only on the debut game (2 wins and 2 draws).
Under-pressure coach
Brasov are winless in the last 9 rounds (5 draws and 4 defeats) and the coach will be sacked in case of another defeat. The catastrohic summer transfer campaign, when they lost their best players from the last season (no less than 11 players) is paying the price and they have big problems especially on offense, as they haven`t found the opponents net in the last 4 games.
Relegation battle
Both of the sides will be involved in the relegation battle this season and I expect both coaches to try and anihilate each other. With very little to separate the sides and both teams lacking players who can make the difference, I expect a tough battle in the middle and avoiding the defeat as the main goal. I expect a cautious approach, at least in the first half.

FC Brasov had a surprisingly good start of the season, considering only one regular from the last year’s
team remained with the team. They showed a lot of ambition in all their games and they look like a hard nut to crack.
Most of those players were reserves last year and they now want to prove themselves. To be honest, the
team is not looking worse than the mercenaries from last season. Last round they lost at Vaslui after
a tough battle, conceding two goals from corners, otherwise Vaslui not being able to trouble them much.
Soon, they will be history
Unirea is in a deep mess and it seems they will go the same way they came, overnight. Their owner wanted to dissolve the team but the LPF forbid this because he already cashed the money from the TV rights. So, Unirea will bore us until the end of the season when they will probably disappear. They were bad so far, not being able to score in the league. Regular gk (and the best one from Romania) left to Rubin Kazan and many other players are expected to leave soon. They were trashed by Hajduk on Thursday and the players are looking unmotivated since they are unpaid from few month already. Also, Marinescu and Onofras picked small injuries during the game and they are doubtful for Monday’s game.
Home win
I take this early bet since I believe the odds are going to drop hard until Monday. The game is not an easy one for Brasov, by any means, but these odds are too good to be missed considering the current clubs’ situation. Also, until Monday many things could happen at Urziceni and some players could leave, this causing a big drop. The value is in these odds for sure. Good luck!
