Waalwijk vs Jong Ajax PREVIEW & PREDICTION 18/01/2019

On Friday evening nine games are scheduled in the Kitchen Champion Division. One of the matches is the game between RKC Waalwijk and Jong Ajax. De Waalwijkers booked a nice victory over TOP Oss last weekend, while the team from Amsterdam remanded with the peers of Jong PSV.

Waalwijk :

Trainer Fred Grim has successfully resumed the competition with RKC last weekend. The Waalwijkers came after TOP Oss after halftime via an assigned penalty, but not much later got the opportunity to draw the score again from eleven meters. It was Emil Hansson who failed to come face to face with Nick Olij. Dylan Seys warned the Ossenaren later with a shot on the post and just before time he was very accurate. Despite the Belgian attacker being only 1.68 meters, he found the goal with his head.

The season of the Waalwijkers is characterized by injuries. The team lacked scoring ability in many games. Not surprising as first striker Mario Bilate got injured early in the season and Roland Berkamp was not always fit. Since Ezra Walian has not yet made an impression, Sylla Sow was recently taken over from FC Utrecht. Stijn Spierings, another newcomer, made a good impression during the duels with TOP Oss.

Jong Ajax:

There is currently no team better in shape than the Ajax promised team. The team from Amsterdam won four games in a row, but saw this nice series come to an end after the win stop. The team took the lead last weekend against the peers of PSV, but after a blunder from goalkeeper Stan van Bladeren and a goal from Dirk Abels, it looked calm at a disadvantage. The Brazilian Ajax striker showed himself razor-sharp for the second time after a break.

Young Ajax then had the better field game, but came no further than a 2-2 draw. Against the team from Eindhoven, the team joined with a strongly modified base eleven due to the training camp of the first selection in Orlando. It missed seven players. Michael Reiziger will be pleased that he will again have a virtually complete selection for the game with RKC. The young talents will do something about the poor balance, as ten points were taken from ten away games.
