Villarreal vs Real Madrid PREVIEW & PREDICTION 21/11/2020

Villarreal and Real Madrid meet in a match in the 10th round of La Liga. The match will be played on Saturday, from 15:15, on the Estadio de la Ceramica.

Villarreal is one of the fittest teams in Spain, being without failure suffered in the last nine matches played in all competitions. Moreover, Unai Emery’s team appears in the duel with Real after a series of four victories in a row, two of them being obtained in the championship, 2-0 with Valladolid and 3-1 at Getafe.

On the other hand, the title champion of La Liga comes to this match after the humiliation suffered on the field of Valencia, score 1-4. That was a bad day for the usually speedy Zinedine Zidane. Three of the four goals scored by the “bats” came from the lime point, while Valencia’s 4th success came thanks to the own goal scored by Raphael Varane. It was the second failure suffered by Madrid in the current season of La Liga, the first being the one suffered at home, in front of the newly promoted Cadiz (0-1).

The “yellow submarine” played seven matches this season, on its own field (La Liga and Europa League). The first ended in a draw, while the next seven brought victories for Unai Emery’s team. It is noteworthy that five of the seven games played at home offered at least three changes to the table, which we expect to happen in the confrontation with Real Madrid. In the last five direct confrontations, over 2.5 goals were scored, and in four of them, even over 3.5 goals were scored.
