TORINO VS AS ROMA PREVIEW & PREDICTION
On Sunday, at 17:00, Turin will receive the visit of AS Roma in a match for the first round in Serie A. The match will take place at the “Stadio Olimpico” in Turin.
Rome, without Alisson and Nainggolan stars.
The strong and balanced match in the first round of this Serie A season in Turin. The hosts, who split up from left-wing Antonio Barreca, to AS Monaco, will show a first “11” in which we find two new names: Izzo, coming from Genoa for 8 million and Meite, coming from Monaco for the same amount for which Barreca left: 10 million. With the same Walter Mazzarri on the bench and with the same Andrea Belotti as the spearhead, Torino announces that she is a homogeneous team, trained to overcome her mid-level status in Italy.
On the other hand, Rome has undergone major changes this summer. After the departure of Alisson and Nainggolan stars for a total of 100 million euros, the “giallorossii” did not think, compensating, however, by quantity rather than by quality, comparing new arrivals with almost indispensable departures. N’Zonzi, Pastore, Justin Kluivert, Davide Santon and Cristante are presented as the most important acquisitions of the Romanians who will indeed have a stronger number in terms of numbers than last season, with a reserve bank superior quality.
In the last ten direct confrontations between the two bands, AS Roma imposed six times, Turin in the other two rows, while two other disputes ended in a tie;
The previous direct duel took place in the last season’s return, when the captains leveled lightly on “Olimpico”, score 3-0;
Six of the last eight straight games ended with goals on both sides;
Torino (3-5-2): Sirigu- Izzo, N’Koulou, Moretti- De Silvestri, Baselli, Rincon, Meite, Berenguer- Iago Falque, Belotti
AS Roma (4-3-3): Olsen- Florenzi, Fazio, Manolas, Kolarov- Strootman, De Rossi, Pastore- Under, Dzeko, Kluivert
Given the circumstances of this game, we expect a spectacular hostile run. Torino impressed offensive in the preseason matches, including the Cup, a few days ago against Cosenza (4-0). On the other side, Rome also displayed an offensive appetite for the International Champions Cup and, knowing the open-air play of the two combatants, we believe there is a high chance of seeing a scorecard with both sides in Torino.
PREDICTION: Both teams to score / YES @ 1.55
