SG Dynamo Dresden vs Wehen PREVIEW & PREDICTION 08/11/2019

More basement duel is not possible! If Dynamo Dresden and SV Wehen-Wiesbaden face each other on Friday evening from 17:30 clock in the Rudolf -Harbig Stadium, it comes to the game between the bottom and the penultimate of the second league table. Nonetheless, the moods of both teams are completely different.

While the Saxons last set their own negative record and lost five matches in the lower house in succession, the guests from the Hessian state capital have been unbeaten for just as many matches. For this reason, we are also a little surprised that the quotas of bookmakers between Dresden and Wiesbaden turn out rather clearly in favor of the hosts.

The favorite role, the black and yellow have held, is probably justified primarily by the “home strength”. Quite deliberately we put the word in quotes, because in the course of the aforementioned bankruptcy series, the recent two games were lost in front of their own fans. In addition, Cristian Fiel’s protégés are under tremendous pressure, which could be detrimental in view of the number of followers becoming impatient with continuous playing time.

In addition, it should be noted that the hosts already completed their fourth competitive match within the last 16 days. For a second division, this may be an unfamiliar experience, especially given the fact that the guests are considered to be hard to beat and extremely strong opponents. Among other things, therefore, we present the prediction that the tip on a success of the SVWW with the more attractive value before the relegation crime Dresden – Wiesbaden.

Dresden:

The air for Cristian Fiel is getting thinner and thinner. If the German-Spaniard, who completed over 100 competitive games for the SGD in five years (2010 – 2015) and was active in the youth field after his active career, would not have had such a good standing within the club, a break-up may have already taken place.

For purely rational reasons, the 39-year-old is so far the proof that he can have success as a second division coach, remained guilty. Although Fiel comes in 25 games as head coach of the Dresdner after all on seven successes (seven draws, eleven defeats), but only the two were retracted in the current season.

Since the yellow-blacks also had to accept most bankruptcies of all league rivals (seven), greets the actually so ambitious club from the Saxon capital since last matchday from the last place in the table. Even more worrying than the three-counter deficit on the saving shore, however, is the continuing series of defeats.

In the last five games, the Dresden always pulled the short straw. Only in the second round of the DFB Cup, the second division struggled in Berlin, a 3-3 draw, but still not enough to fix the jump into the second round. Perhaps a sensational progress against the East rivals would have been a chance to make the eagerly awaited turnaround, but a last-minute extra goal in extra time to equalize prevented that as well.

Last weekend’s away game in Stuttgart, the tail light also presented quite neat, which, however, did not change the fact that the Saxons with 1: 3 for the fifth time in a row as a loser left a second league seat.

It seems that the Fiel protégés are always easier to do when they can play as outsiders without much pressure. This will not be the case on Friday night.
In the home game of Dresden against Wiesbaden, this forecast is daring, is anything less than a threesome for the home side too little. But instead of demonstrating strength and self-confidence, we get the impression that an entire city is shaking before the basement duel and another defeat, which would then probably result in personal consequences.

A little hope for the need for liberation makes the fact that the SGD seven of the total of nine points in front of home backdrop brought. Most recently, however, it put bankruptcies at home against Hannover (0: 2) and against Bielefeld (0: 1), where no own goal succeeded.

In general, the offense with only 13 goals and only two hits in the recent five games, the major vulnerability. Because the SVWW last defensive showed very stable, we keep between Dresden and Wiesbaden a tip on the home threesome – also in view of the relatively low prices – for significantly too risky.

In the relegation summit declared internally as the most important game of the year, Cristian Fiel only has to do without Tim Boss and Kevin Ehlers, who played no role in the current season anyway. We assume that the coach once again uses a triple chain. Whether the fans in their own stadium, however, the patience and understanding bring, first defensive to do the homework, we would call questionable.

Wiesbaden:

Nationwide, after seven match days, many experts were sure that SV Wehen-Wiesbaden would have to go straight into second division again. This assumption was based on the one hand on the weak start of the season with only one point from the first seven games, on the other hand, but also on the surprising rise, which may have come a little too early.

The Hesse was denied at the latest after the 2: 5 home slap against Arminia Bielefeld quality for the second highest German league. What has happened since then, borders on a small football miracle, because only six days after the devastating defeat against the East Westphalia, celebrated the Red-Black-White in 2-0 against VfL Osnabrück the first victory. It should also be the start of an impressive series.

Since now more than five second division matches the SVWW did not have to leave the field as a loser. This is an outstanding value, because the promoted had to compete at VfB Stuttgart, at home against Hamburger SV or against Heidenheim.

Thanks to nine points in the course of the ongoing unbeaten series (two wins, three draws) have the Wiesbadener pushed in the table at least on the penultimate place. The residue on the saving bank has also shrunk to three points. Should Rüdiger Rehm’s team confirm the upward trend on Friday, they would make the direct connection to the midfield.

In terms of self-confidence, those who have conceded at least two goals in three out of five away games this season in three of their five recent matches and who have at least two goals in each case should take advantage of them.

An additional broad chest got the Rehm-protégés last weekend, when they reached at home in the last second against Hamburger SV in spite of a draw. So it runs at the Hessian climber!
Because the Taunussteiner currently occupy a strong eleventh place in the away table, scored more hits in the stranger than at home and also conceded significantly fewer goals, we lack the plausible arguments to be able to understand the odds of bookmakers between Dresden and Wiesbaden. We definitely trust the formative Wehenern a coup in Dresden.

Albrecht, Bartels, Lyska, Schönfeld, Schwadorf, Tietz and wax are injured due to not available. In addition, veteran Stefan Aigner was banned after his dismissal from the previous week for three games. For the winger Swede could slip into the starting lineup.

Even a very courageous alignment with two strikers (Schäffler, Knöll) we would not rule out completely, although it must be noted that the guests will not make the mistake of approaching the six-point game in the Saxon capital too naive. The healthy self-confidence and the clear increase in form of the last weeks make the bet on the SVWW a real recommendation for the Friday evening.
