RB Leipzig – Eintracht Frankfurt: 21st January 2017

Located on the first stage premiere football in Germany, host band was done surprisingly well, ending 2016 in second place. After a series of eight consecutive victories from late September to mid-December, “Bulls” have yielded surprisingly, for the first time this season against ranked last Ingolstadt. Then, in a real derby for the first place, Leipzig had to be put in respect of Bayern, in front of which yielded 0-3. Undoubtedly, RBL now wants to return to the string of victories, however, it remains to be seen if the game based on aggressive pressing and counterattacks will produce the same results to debut in 2017.

Naby Keita (injured) and Emil Forsberg (suspended) are two notable absences from camp hosts, to which we add Klostermann, in turn injured.

On the other side, having lost only once in the last 10 rounds, the guests were “wintering” in fourth position. Forming one of the most organized teams and solid defensive standpoint, “Eagles” were pleasantly surprised by the developments planned. We must not forget that at the end of last season, they were on the brink of relegation, surviving hard behind the dam with Nurnberg.

Located on Champions League place, Frankfurt hopes to resume the series of positive results, but Niko Kovac face a long series of problems. The list of players unavailable include the names of no less than 11 players, but what’s right, six of them missing early in the season. The most significant absences are those of Tawatha, Huszti, Fabian, G.Varela and Blum.
