On Wednesday, starting at 17:30, the Petrolul Ploiesti – Chindia Targoviste game will be played, during the 6th round of the second league in Romania, 2018-2019 edition.
The two bands have not met before in the domestic competitions of Romania. Chindia won a friendly match with Petrol in February 2018, score 2-1.
The “yellow wolves” played only two games in their own field in this season’s debut, a 2-1 victory in front of Pandurilor in Targu Jiu and a draw in the company of Sportul Snagov. The students trained by Leo Grozavu won two rounds very clearly, so they ranked seventh in the second league standings with 10 points.
Viorel Moldovan’s group is equal to the opponent in this match but has a weaker goal. Chindia was defeated on stage in the last round, score 0-2 by Dacia Mioveni, through the goals scored by Valentin Balint from 11 meters kicks.
The team in Targoviste possesses an excellent defensive play and the “oilmen” will find it difficult to score.
