PAOK vs BATE PREVIEW & PREDICTION 13/12/2018

On Thursday, starting at 17:55, the PAOK Thessaloniki – BATE Borisov match will be played from the 6th round of the Europa League group stage 2018-2019.

The Greeks defeated Borisov with 4-1 in the lead, through the goals scored by Prijovic, Jaba (2) and Pelkas, respectively Crespo (autogol).

PAOK Thessaloniki has the last chance to qualify in the spring of the Europa League after a disappointing trip to the Hungarians from MOL Vidi. Razvan Lucescu’s band defeated Borisov, but lost all the other four clashes in the group stage. Contrast, the Greeks go “clock” in the internal competition, being the leaders of the 35 points ranking after 13 stages.

The Belarusians from BATE Borisov are in pole position for the qualification after the two victories with MOL Vidi, with the golaver on their side. Theoretically, a draw in Thessaloniki is enough if MOL Vidi does not defeat Chelsea. However, the Greeks have experience of their tour, in which they “fought” on the field.

PAOK proved to have an unsafe defensive, being defeated 9 times in group games. Lucescu will motivate players to win the duel with BATE, but the Belarusians are able to score and will not want to stay in the “hand” of the fate for the qualification.

PREDICTION: PAOK to win @ 1.68
