Mexico vs Cuba PREVIEW & PREDICTION 16/06/2019

On Sunday, starting at 3:00 pm, the Mexico-Cuba game will be held at Round 1 of the Gold Cup tournament, 2019. The Mexicans won all nine straight encounters with their Cuban counterparts, six times without receiving a goal. Mexican officials are looking for an easy success in front of the 174th nation in the FIFA rankings to start “as the shotgun” at the current Gold Cup.

Gerardo “Tata” Martino has won all four matches on Mexico’s bench since his appointment in January 2019. The former coach of Barcelona and Argentina has printed an ultra-offensive style, in which the successes have “course” in the gate of opponents like Venezuela, Paraguay, Chile or Ecuador.

Wolverhampton striker, Raul Jimenez, and captain Andres Guardado, are the main markers of the Mexicans, but also among the most prestigious. On the opposite side, Cuba ranks 174 in the FIFA rankings and won 5 matches of the 34 in the Gold Cup. Cubans do not actually have a legitimate footballer in Europe, and most of them are in the domestic championship. Mexico will look for smashing success, and Cuba will hardly face the side attacks.

PREDICTION: Over 4,5 goals @ 1,74
