Mali – Egypt: 17th January 2017

Mali managed to qualify for the African Nations Cup, after winning a group which also included Benin, Equatorial Guinea and South Sudan.
In qualifying for the 2018 World Cup, players from Mali occupy the last position in the group with one point obtained in 2 stages after goalless draw with Gabon.
Before this tournament, Mali’s has played one friendly match, in front of Burkina Faso. But they gave up on the ground propru the score 1-2.

On the other side, Egypt failed to qualify for the African Cup after he finished in first place qualifying Group G with 10 points accumulated in four stages.
In qualifying for the World Cup in Russia, Egypt ranks first national of its group with 6 points obtained after the first 2 matches.
Earlier this year, Egyptians have played a friendly match with Tunisia won, 1-0.
