Lillestrom – Odd: 8th May 2017

The host team started with a victory in the first round after being led by Sandefjord with 1-0 on their own home until 87 minutes. The three points were brought by Olsen J. through a lucky goal.
For Lillestrom four consecutive defeats followed, and in the last round he was forced 1-0 on the land of Sogndal. It was obvious that Arne Erlandsen’s footballers did not deserve the 3 points, and they were dominated by all chapters.
So 6 points after the first 6 stages, the Arasen Stadion group is on the 13th and it does not announce a season not easy for the fans of the team.

On the other side, the guest band has an interesting season so far. Odd was imposed in all three games played on his own arena and was defeated in all three trips. Moreover, he has not even managed to enroll in these “outside” confrontations.
In the last round, Dag-Eilev Fagermo’s footballers come after a success against Valerenga, score 2-1. Noteworthy is that in that match the coach who has been on the 9-year team has imposed a counterattack game. Most likely, this has happened because his opponent has a slow game.
With this success Odd climbed to 8th place with a total of 9 points.

Lillestrom has had a weak season so far and is likely to be the whole season. Interestingly, the odds are for the victory of the hosts. This is very likely because Odd has not won any points in the first 3 away games but the visiting team is clearly more valuable than his opponent.
Odd has finished last season on the 3rd position and if he wants to fight for European seats he has to collect points and “out”.
