Groningen – Alkmaar: 17th May 2017

The hosts ended the regular season with a really spectacular game in which they scored no less than goals. On Twente’s pitch, Groningen scored 5-3. However, the result came in the last month’s evolution note, when “The North Mandria” scored 5-1 with Zwolle or 3-4 with Den Haag.

On the other side, still affected after losing the final of the Cup in front of Vitesse, the guests did not get any points in the last two rounds. Van den Brom’s band must wake up before it’s too late, as returning to European Cups will not be a simple mission.
