Greece U19 vs Romania U19 PREVIEW & PREDICTION 17/11/2018

On Saturday, at 12:30, Greece’s U19 team will face similarly selected Romania in a match for the 2nd round of preliminaries for the European Under 19 Championship.

The inaugural round of the Euro Qualification preliminaries brought us a similar opponent in terms of value. However, the Bulgarian team left with the second chance in the confrontation with Romania, which is why we had the match at hand from the start after Mihaila opened the score from the 16th minute of the penalty. The match seemed to turn to a golden success of the “tricolor”, especially after the red card won by the Bulgarians in the penultimate regular game.

However, at the last stage, namely in the eighth additional minute of extensions, the guests hit in numerical inferiority, conquering an unspeakable and unmerited point, ruining the celebration of a potentially prime important Romanian success in order to qualify in a difficult group. Now, there’s no time for regrets. Greece’s national team is at least as strong as Bulgaria’s, and ours have to do everything to wipe the sponge last three days.

Given the circumstances of this game, we were expecting a closed run of hostilities. Since we will see two similarly selected faces in terms of value, we anticipate a balanced match, but rather a showless one. The players of both teams are aware that the outcome of this duel is crucial to the final hierarchy and will treat as such, that is, more precisely, with caution, this meeting.

PREDICTION: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.66
