Germany U21 vs Denmark U21 PREVIEW & PREDICTION 17/06/2019

On June 17, at 20:00, Germany starts the race for the Euro U21 trophy in a match played at Udine against the national team in Denmark. It has been massively betting on the Germans after watching the unbalanced duels between the two bands lately. However, German players are evolving to a higher level than their opponents in the north.

Group B configuration depends largely on the German-Denmark duel, the favorites to qualify. In the group, Austria U21 and Serbia U21 are evolving, but they have a hard job when they see how well black and white are playing. Germany played against the Danish last time in 2017, when it won with a definite 3-0, after having won the previous direct meetings with 2-1 and 3-0.

Before Euro 2019, Denmark lost the friendly duels with Romania (0-1) and Croatia (0-1), so preparations for the final tournament did not go well for the red-white ones. However, before the tests, Frederiksen’s students made good progress with France (1-0), Belgium (3-2) and Mexico (1-0). Germany, on the other hand, defeated Ireland (2-0), Holland (3-0), Italy (2-1) and England (2-1), also draw against France, score 2-2. There have been strong matches for Stefan Kunst’s nationality, which relies on the services of stars such as Klostermann, Tah, Eggstein, Dahoud, Serdar or Neuhaus.

There are no sound names in the Danish lot, but we have to watch the striker Marcus Ingvartssen who has 17 goals in 25 selections at the U21 team. He plays in Genk, Belgium, and has a colleague in the offensive Mikkel Duelund, from Dinamo Kiev. Together with the Nissen defender, they are the best scorers in the Nordic camp.
