Feyenoord vs Venlo PREVIEW & PREDICTION 06/12/2018

On Thursday, at 19:00, Feyenoord will receive Venlo’s visit in a remarkable match for the 11th Eredivisie. The match will take place at the “De Kuip” stadium in Rotterdam.

With only one failure recorded in the last 20 matches in all competitions, Feyenoord respects his status and ranks third in the Eredivisie standings. By showing good progress and picking up most of the points so far, the De Kuip group can not compare to PSV and Ajax, at least not this season, announcing a new fight for the title. However, it does not mean that he can not try; and proof came just at the weekend, when Feyenoord defeated the up-to-date leader in the Netherlands, PSV (2-1), following a solid but demanding evolution. Four days later, on the same arena, van Bronckhorst’s boys receive Venlo’s visit, a team that, although not too upset, does not occupy the ninth place in the hierarchy. Coming after the exhausting derby with PSV, we think the hosts will not score a river in this match.

In the last ten direct confrontations between the two bands, Feyenoord was forced four times, Venlo in four other rows, while the other two duels ended in a draw;

Four of the previous six disputes ended with gaps on both sides;

The last direct match took place in the last season’s return and ended with Venlo’s victory, score 1-0;

Probable teams:

Feyenoord (4-2-3-1): Bijlow – Juste, Beek, Heijden, Malacia – Vilhena, Clasie – Berghuis, Toornstra, Larsson van Persie

Venlo (4-2-3-1): Unnerstall – Rutten, Promes, Roseler, Borgmann – Susic, Seuntjens – Samuelsen, Opoku, Grot – Mlapa

Given the circumstances of this game, we expect a relatively balanced evolution of hostilities, orisicum, more balanced than odds show. Venlo is not exactly a dozen team in the Netherlands, at least not this season, and you can give him a goal without a strain. Instead, even if it is possible not to surprise us, we believe in the force of the guests to make a successful match.

PREDICTION: Both teams to score / YES @ 1.94
