Everton vs Watford PREVIEW & PREDICTION 17/08/2019

On Saturday, at 15pm, Everton receives a visit to Watford, in the second round of the Premier League. The hosts are without Delph, Baines and Gomes, while Londoners cannot rely on the services of Welbeck, Chalobah, Foulquier and Penaranda. We expect an offensive game at Goodison Park.

Very solid on its own ground, Everton again has high ambitions and the homogeneity of the white-blue lot recommends a bet on the hosts’ victory. Watford have scored goals in the last 16 consecutive official games and the “Wasp” defense does not inspire much confidence, while Everton is a capable team in all compartments and benefits from the services of high quality players.

In the first stage, Everton managed a white draw on Crystal Palace’s ground, while Watford were defeated on their own ground, ahead of Brighton (0-3), a match in which Florin Andone also scored. Without being a “scary” in traveling, the guest team clearly starts with the second chance. But we benefit from the offensive style practiced by the two teams, which open the game a lot.

Everton: Pickford – Coleman, Keane, Mina, Worth – Davies, Gbamin – Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard – Calvert-Lewin

Watford: Foster – Female, Dawson, Cathcart, Holebas – W. Hughes, Doucoure, Capoue, Deulofeu – Gray, Deeney

PREDICTION: Everton to win @ 1,73
