On Tuesday, from 18:30, Dinamo Kiev meets Club Brugge in the second round of the preliminary round 3 of the UEFA Champions League. In the tour, the Belgians won 1-0 on their own ground, after a match of great fight, in which the priority of the Ukrainians was defensively organized.
The bookmakers appreciate that the Ukrainians have the first chance at victory on their own ground, but any goal received from Brugge can be decisive. That is why we expect to see a tactical game, in which Dinamo Kiev will try to minimize the danger around their own corner. The hosts are missing the injured Duelund, Shaparenko, Sudcley and Tsitaishvili, while guests cannot rely on Openda (suspended) and Vanlerberghe.
Dinamo Kiev had to play a difficult match after the failure with Brugge in the tour. The white-blue troupe gave up in the derby with Shatior Donetk (1-2), after he had managed to win the Ukrainian Super Cup against the same opponent. Instead, Brugge earned a “service” victory on the field of Oostende, thus extending the series of consecutive successes to four! So, Brugge is in shape, but Dinamo Kiev enjoys the advantage of their own land, in the decisive match.
We are tempted to bet again on a game with few goals, especially as the Ukrainians will defend very carefully in return. The first half was decided by the success of Vanaken’s penalty (’37), in a match in which 7 yellow cards were awarded. The guests, prepared by Aleksandr Khatskevich, had 11 sutures at the gate, but square one, managing a possession of 48%. The quality difference of the game was not great and it is worth trying a bet on Dinamo!
