CHELSEA VS ARSENAL PREVIEW & PREDICTION
Saturday, at 17:30, the most important match of the day in England was “Stamford Bridge”. This is the London derby between Chelsea and Arsenal, where two bands are in a different situation. Chelsea looks promising under the command of Maurizio Sarri, while Unai Emery has a lot of work on the “tuners” bench.
We have to say that the impression of the microbists can be exaggerated with regard to the two bands. Chelsea played well in the first round when he scored through Kante, Jorginho and Pedro, but met a modest band, Huddersfield (3-0), who accepted the dominance. Arsenal, however, was upset by the Manchester City champion, but instead of 2-0 the score could easily be 1-1, so the picture of failure is not necessarily realistic for Unai Emery’s students.
Aubameyang, the only “tuner” to “move” in Emery’s attack.
One thing is certain: Chelsea seems to be somewhat better in terms of play and passports, especially because there is a homogeneous and well-organized group. Unai Emery is forced to do enough experiments to find the ideal formula and the feeling is that the only top player in the attack is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Lacazette has not set his shot yet, and Ozil was the weakest man on the pitch at Manchester City. Maybe Welbeck returns in the first 11 to boost the creative “tunnels” game! But his experience on the field will make it more difficult for Maurizio Sarri’s players.
No less than 4 of the last 6 direct duels of the two ended in draw, 0-0, 2-2, 0-0 and 1-1. The balance between the two has stayed in recent years, but Chelsea has a couple of points this weekend: Hazard’s presence, Kepa’s safety in the goal, homogeneity, but also the fans’ input! There are solid arguments and the winner’s share of the winners can be tried with medium stakes at online agencies. At the same time, it is expected that both bands will take more risks in the second half.
Chelsea: Kepa – Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger, Alonso – Kante, Jorginho, Barkley / Fabregas – Willian, Morata, Hazard
Arsenal: Cech – Bellerin, Sokratis, Mustafi, Monreal – Xhaka, Ramsey, Ozil – Welbeck, Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan
PREDICTION: Chelsea to win @ 1.82
