Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Italy PREVIEW & PREDICTION 15/11/2019

On November 15, from 19:45 pm, Italy has a difficult match in Zenica, in the 9th stage of qualifying for Euro 2020. The match on Bilino Polje has only statistical significance for the two formations: Bosnia needs a a miracle for the qualification, and the Italians are already the winners of the group.

Italy has 8 victories from all the matches played in Group J, with 25-3 goalscoring and excellent hopes for a successful final tournament. Under Mancini’s command, the Squadra seems to have regained its former attitude, in a group (which is right) quite modest. In second place is Finland, with 15 points and a modest campaign finish, with two failures in the last three games (goalkeeper 12-8).

Armenia and Bosnia share the 3rd place, with 10 points, at the end of a campaign with defensive problems in both camps. If the Armenians exceeded expectations and could be even higher, the players in Bosnia certainly have something to reproach: only 3 wins in 8 matches and 17-14 goalscoring. The away parties were a nightmare for the Balkans, who lost even to the land of Greece, which was the big disappointment of this campaign. Overall, though, Bosnia has good performances at home and retains the quality of players like Pjanic or Dzeko.

Given that they have scored both teams in 6 of the last 8 matches played by Bosnia, we expect a generous match in the show at Zenica. On the other hand, Italy comes after solid performances with Armenia (3-1), Finland (2-1), Greece (2-0) and Liechtenstein (5-0) and could force for a perfect J group balance. We will bet on goals, because Bosnia managed to score in the tour match.

PREDICTION: Both teams to score / YES @ 1,70
