Belgium vs Switzerland PREVIEW & PREDICTION 12/10/2018

Belgium and Switzerland meet Friday night in a game that will decide the leader of Group 2 of the first division of the League of Nations.

Belgium has won the last three matches it has played and has not received a goal in the meantime. “Red Devils” are not in the first place in the group after Switzerland won 6-0 in the match against Iceland. Friday night’s fans have lost on the team’s hard to beat. After an excellent period lasting up to the World Cup in the summer, the Swiss have now lost two of the last three games disputed, showing signs of weakness.

The only recent confrontation between the two selections took place in 2016. Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne then scored in the 2-1 victory of the Belgians.

Kevin De Bruyne is not among the players selected by Roberto Martinez for this Belgian national action, Jan Vertonghen being another absent.

Belgium (3-4-3)
Courtois – Vermaelen, Kompany, Alderweireld – Carrasco, Witsel, Tielemans, Meunier – Hazard, Lukaku, Mertens

Switzerland (4-2-3-1)

Belgium has the first chance in this game. Besides public support, the host team has a lot rich in talented and experienced players, and it’s been through a period of excellent results. We are waiting for the hosts’ victory, even though Belgium is likely to leave the mark for the second half of the match.
