B. Monchengladbach vs Bayer Leverkusen PREVIEW & PREDICTION 23/05/2020

We prepare bets on goals and on the show in Germany, on Saturday, from 14:30. In the 27th round of the Bundesliga we see a strong match between Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen, two teams that played very well last weekend. Gladbach is in 3rd place (goal average 52-31), while Leverkusen is in 5th place (goal average 49-31) and both are hoping for the UEFA Champions League.

The fight in the top of the Bundesliga is very balanced. Only two points separate the two bands at this time. Borussia come after an exciting 3-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt, where Plea (‘1’) and Thuram (‘7’) quickly resolved the fate of the match. Leverkusen put on an offensive show in Bremen, with Werder, where Peter Bosz’s team won a spectacular 4-1, after goals from Havertz, Weiser and Demirbay.

The statistics around this match are telling. So, Saturday’s rivals have won three of the previous four official matches. Leverkusen is on an admirable rise in recent years and has managed to build a team full of young, fast and creative players. That’s why the team’s game is so alert!

However, Monchengladbach won in three of the last four direct matches with Leverkusen, including in the round, with 2-1. Goals from Wendt (’18) and Thuram (’42) made the difference, although Volland had managed to equalize for the “pharmacists” in the 25th minute. Kevin Volland – absent important. In order to hope for victory, the guests must defend themselves very well on Saturday.

Gladbach: Summer – Lainer, Ginter, Elvedi, Bensebaini – Strobl, Neuhaus – Herrmann, Embolo, Thuram – Plea

Leverkusen: Hradecky – Weiser, S. Bender, Tapsoba, Sinkgraven – Aranguiz, Demirbay – Bellarabi, Amiri, Diaby – Havertz

PREDICTION: Over 2,5 goals @ 1,49
