Roger Federer is now  ranked on the second place in the ATP rankings and is likely to finish the year at No. 1, but the main condition is that the Serbian Novak Djokovic, the current leader does not exceed the tournament semifinals. For Rogerit is very possible to win the tournament if he will make a good match tonight and if he will do his best in the final.
In the last two matches against Raonic and Nishikori, Federer did very well and managed to beat both of them in two sets.
Before the Champions Tour, Roger Federer was eliminated in the quarterfinals in Paris Masters  by Milos Raonic.
This will be the 23rd meeting between Murray and Federer over 10 years and in the head-to-head they each have 11 wins apiece. “I played him in my first ever final in Bangkok,” Murray said. “It was a great experience then, as it has been every time I’ve played against him.

On the other hand, Andy Murray will most likely finish the year ranked o the six place in the men’s ATP tennis rankings. Britain had a really successful season and started on the wrong foot at Tournament of Champions, being defeated in two identical sets by the Japanese Nishikori, 6: 4 6: 4. In the second match of Group B, Andy Murray gave chest with the Canadian Milos Raonic  and he defeated him in two sets, 6: 3, 7: 5.
Last tournament attended by Murray was the Paris Masters where he was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Novak Djokovic. Roger Federer and Andy Murray have met four times before the Tournament of Champions, the Swiss won three matches, while Murray won only once at their first direct confrontation that took place in 2008. Roger is the favorite tonight to impose even if he is already qualified for the semifinals, he showed a very good game so far and his motivation is to reach the final.

Andy Murray rediscovered some of his best tennis to save his place in the 2014 ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena in Greenwich, beating Milos Raonic 6-3, 7-5 to set up a showdown with Roger Federer in the last group match on Thursday tomorrow night. If he had lost to the off-key Canadian, his season was over but he played with the required intensity in front of a loud, sell-out crowd.
