International Friendly match

Just a few months after Germany beat Argentina in the World Cup final, they will play a friendly match tonight at 21:45 in Düsseldorf. This game could be a replay of the World Cup final played in this summer in Brazil but it will be played in Germany – Dusseldorf’s ESPRIT Arena. Will Argentina defeated the world champion tonight?

Germany 2014 world champion will play the first match after the final in Brazil against the team that met in the finals,  Argentina. Germans will not be based in this match on three of the holders of two months ago, Boateng, Hummels and Ozil who are injured. Other three players that were in the team two months ago  Philipp Lahm, Miroslav Klose and Per Mertesacker  retired after winning the World Cup, so tonight Germany will face Argentina without some importants players. The good news is that, after missing the World Cup with an ankle injury, Marco Reus, is back on the team, and he is one of the key players. After Martesacker and Miroslav Klose have retired, and the captain Lahm left the team after he won the World Cup, Bayern Munich midfielder,  Bastian Schweinsteiger has been named the new captain of Germany.

Argentina wants the revenge after losing with Germany in the World Cup finals in Brazil in overtime match. South Americans are having the complet team as it was in the World Cup final, and Messi and the company are trying this evening to make a beautiful figure on the Dusseldorf’s ESPRIT Arena. 

Argentina’s coach, Sabella has been confirmed in the position of head coach even though he missed the world title. He is saying that : “The most important thing for us in this friendly is building a good atmosphere in the group.”

Germany and Argentina have met 12 times so far, todays hosts with four wins, while guests also have four wins. In friendly matches the two teams have met three times, and all matches were won by Argentina. Today’s match promises to be a balanced one after the first match for both tournament.
