A very interesting confrontation tonight in Romania Cup where we can follow one of the most unbalanced competition between two of the best soccer teams in Romania: Steaua Bucharest and Petrolul Poiesti.
Starting with 19:30 National Arena Staium will host one of the most expected matches in Romania Cup semifinals, the tour match ended up with a 1-1 result, but it will not be hard to say who is the favorite tonight, because Steaua will play at home and are very motivated tonight.
Steaua Bucuresti recovered easly after it’s weak start of the championship, the team managed to win two consecutive matches in Ligue 1, in front of Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt, 1-0 and Viitorul Constanta, 4-1. Steaua comes after a friendly match with Constanta where they won 2-0.
The coach Costel Galca will not have tonight in the match two of his best players: Alexander Chipciu who is injured and Valera who plays in the national team. Alsi Arlauskis who came from the national team it’s doubtful, but are hopes that he could play tonight.

Petrolul Ploiesti prepared it’s attack in this short break for the match against Steaua. Mircea Rednic’s team will have no missing players concerns so remains to be seen if they will be able to win on the National Arena tonight.
In the last stage, Petrolul defeated 1-0 CFR Cluj, they managed with this victory to stop a series of four consecutive games without a win.

Petrolul was very close to a win in the first leg, but Chipciu scored the equalizer for Steaua in the final phase of the match.
Steaua wants the Romanian Cup final, the team is already qualified in the League Cup final but will have a tough game tonight.
