 ROLAND GARROS FINAL

Great final today at Roland Garros: Novak Djokovic vs. Rafael Nadal!

Serbian Novak Djokovic and Spanish Rafael Nadal will play the final tournament  today at 16:00 at Roland Garros after thy defeat  last Friday in the semifinals Ernest Gulbis, respectively Andy Murray.

Serbian Novak Djokovic  defeat this friday the Latvian Ernests Gulbis in four sets (6-3, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3), it was a spectacular match, because Gulbis  has a stronger  shot, sits pretty well on the field and managed to stay focused on each ball.

Nadal (1st ATP) unexpectedly passed very easily by  Andy Murray in three sets (6-3, 6-2, 6-1).

Rafael Nadal is the number one favorite at Roland Garros, a tournament which he won eight times so far, the absolute record in this regard and which has only one defeat so far. In this edition he has lost only one set in the quarter-final match against David Ferrer, match that he played very good because he remaind focused and he won easly the next sets.

In the semifinals he defeat Andy very easy and this proves once again how well it moves on clay and that it is surface that can not be defeated .

Nadal is now in the  9th final at Roland Garros and today he cand won his 5th consecutive title on clay in Paris and would check another record on his favorite surface.

On the other side, Novac Djokovic is the no 2. favorite at Roland Garros and if he manage to impose on the clay and to and to attack Nadal, maybe he will have a chance to win the Roland Garros for the first time in his career.

The Roland Garros trophy is the only one  missing from his records so far but is not just this, if he will win today, on Monday he will be in global leadership position in the ATP rankings. On clay this season was a good one for Novac, he managed to win the tournament in Rome, but at the Monte Carlo he was defeated by Roger Federer in the semifinals.

The most recent meeting between the two players in the final tournament held in Rome, where Djokovic won in three sets, after Nadal won the first set.

On clay Rafa and Novac have met 16 times untill now,  and Nadal leads 12-4 on this surface. Today the two players will play the third round at Roland Garros in the first two Nadal  defeat Djokovic with 3:1 and 3:2. Although Serbian imposed in Rome and won the match, it is hard to believe that he will be able to impose today  at the clay where Nadal is the absolute champion.

WE RECOMMEND: VICTORY Nadal, ODD 1.75
