Marseille is on the top of the standings in the French league, they are have been slipping in recent weeks, after their last two defeats (1-2 Espanyol; 1-2 PSG). They finished in a respectable 13^th position last season, but are currently on the 4^th place.  Nantes have 10 consecutive matches unbeaten, since their 2-0 defeat at Lille in September. During this stretch of games they have won 5 and drawn 5.
FC Nantes started very well this championship and managed to occupy the 4th place after 14 rounds of Ligue 1. They are on equal points with Bordeaux, both with 24 points in the standings, but guests are proud of this match the fact that they have the best defense in the league, only 9 goals conceded in 14 games. Nantes has only one defeat in six trips made this season and the last three games recorded three consecutive wins. Last round the guests today drew at home in the company of the Saint Etienne, score 0: 0.
