Before tonight’s confrontation with Ajax, Alkmaar won with a score of 3: 1 at home in front of Heracles. In traveling, this season, guests tonight suffered just two defeats, with five wins and two draws.

In the first leg, Ajax won the field at AZ Alkmaar with a score of 3: 1 and remains favorite for tonight’s duel. In the last three games direct Ajax won quite easily in front of Alkmaar who won last time at home in a victory with 3: 2. The Amsterdam Arena, AZ Alkmaar won twice in the last 20 years, but the parties were played in the Dutch Cup.
