A victory today means a lot to Hungary. They are currently on the first place in the group B and if they remain there, they will go directly to the semifinal. Many people were surprised by Hungary performance, but they beat Serbia 9:6 and deserve the first place. It is clear Hungary will enter into this match very motivated and I expect big victory against weak Macedonia.
Match without some importance
This match is without any importance for Macedonia. Yes, because Macedonia will end on the fifth position in group B this or that way. So, coach Nonkovic must think on the following match. It is unclear against which national team Macedonia will play for 9-th place, but it is clear one think – players must be fresh. So, I believe coach Nonkovic will play with some of the younger players (Velickovski, Dimovski and Janevski), just like against Serbia. And Serbia won 19:9, just for Your information. Plus, Ivovic is injured, while Latkovic is facing with suspension. (it is not decided yet). In situation like this I don`t believe Macedonia can escape another heavy defeat.
Easy victory for Hungary
Nothing can be changed on the table for Macedonia. They can`t beat Hungary, it is clear to everybody. Coach Nonkovic and players are well aware of that fact. On other side Russia (currently sixth) can not catch Macedonia as they lost in the mutual game with 9:10 from Macedonia. So, it is clear Macedonia will be fifth and Russia sixth in this group. So, Macedonian coach Nonkovic will surely try to keep the players fresh for the next game, the battle for the ninth place on this European championship. Hungary on other side is class better then Macedonia and they are able to win with big difference.
